The nadir of NPR interviews

Last night I heard the worst NPR interview ever. As if it weren’t embarrassing enough to be talking to Adam Levine about the disco faux-rock hit “Moves Like Jagger,” host Guy Raz was thick as a brick. Why Mick Jagger? he asked. Levine admitted that he didn’t actually write the song’s hook; that was somebody else. The host went on to follow up with zingers like: What do you think Mick Jagger thinks of the song? Why’d you get Christina Aguilera to sing on it? (hint: she and Levine both appeared on the television show The Voice, which just coincidentally premiered this very song) So, why Mick Jagger, anyway, really?, and Will Mick Jagger ever sing it with you?

Hear the crash, burn and crash for yourself. The text version NPR has posted doesn’t do the horrorshow justice?
